THE STORY
Hi, I’m Courtney, Head Designer + Founder at Ernie. I’m a one-woman studio, based in Manchester.
Originally starting my freelance journey as a VA and Community Manager, I’m now a self-taught brand + web designer. Before freelancer-life, I worked in many restaurants + bars, was a beauty therapist, Yoga teacher + Reiki Practitioner. Woah. That’s why I love working with brands like these.
Travel is my biggest inspiration. Or find me listening to reggae, dancing to Latin music, cooking or doing pottery.
ERNIE WAS NAMED AFTER MY grandad
We won’t lie, it took us a while to think of a name for the studio. We want it to be bigger than just the founder, and something that had meaning. So of course, it had to be after founder Courtney’s grandad, Ernie.
The biggest-hearted, most beautiful soul’ed person I know. I wanted this brand to be a joyful, idea-generating and ready to go studio… so Ernie seemed like the perfect name.
